HFHI shall make every effort to use funds as designated; nevertheless, under the direction of the Board of Directors, HFHI retains complete control over the use and distribution of donated funds or products in furtherance of its mission.
For Habitat trip donations, please be aware that if the volunteer changes trip location or joins a different Habitat trip, your donation may follow the volunteer’s new trip location. In addition, if the volunteer cancels this trip and is unable to rebook a Habitat trip, then your generous donation will be used to support Habitat for Humanity’s global mission. Lastly, in the unlikely event that Habitat for Humanity must cancel the trip (for example, for safety and security reasons), then Habitat for Humanity will make every effort to notify you and provide options for your donation.
